Gaming platforms

With every year technology gets better and when tech improves so does the gaming industry. New Software and hardware are creating and improving gaming platforms. In the past if developers wanted to improve a gaming console they would have to make a new one but now with wide spread use of the internet game developers can update software without replacing the console.

My favorite gaming platform is got to be the playstation 2 due to there being so many amazing games to play with some having online multiplayer with hours of interesting game play. It was the first console to have a game that has a open world without loading times. The last playstation 2 game was Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 which was released early 2014. I have many good memories playing my ps2 and it was the console that got me thinking about games critically so this now obsolete console will always have a place in my heart.
