Turn-based game

A turn-based game is a game where the players take turns moving their troops or character this is different from a real time strategy game which as all players moving or attacking at the same time. There are the traditional turn-based games like Civilization which has players taking turns for both moving and attacking and there are games like Pokemon which have players freely moving but once a battle starts they enter a turn-based combat system that is separate from the game world.
