Game tech that blew my mind

Hello all and welcome to my blog and today's topic is Gaming technology that blow my mind. Gaming has been coming up with some pretty amazing technology over the last couple of years from 3D gaming to the Oculus Rift. So I have three of my favorite technologies to share with you today.

New Nintendo 3DS

I don't think I am alone when I say I like Nintendo products but the New 3DS is my favorite handheld console so far due to its improved 3D capabilities. The previous 3DS caused headaches after a few minutes of game time. But now they fixed this problem by having the inbuilt camera track the player's eyes and correct the visuals to reduce the chance of headaches. I never thought Nintendo would be able to fix there 3D problems and put it back into a handheld but I was wrong.

Oculus Rift

The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset that can give the illusion that the player is inside the game. The headset can tell when the player moves their head and can move their characters head in the game which allows the player to get immersed in the games world. The Oculus is the first step to a complete virtual reality simulator which is something I thought I would never see in my lifetime but yet it's being developed.

Razer Switchblade

What happens if a gameboy and a laptop have a baby together? Well you get the Razer Switchblade which is a small portable gaming laptop that is half the size of a conventional laptop. The designers removed half the keys on the keyboard and replaced them with small hotkeyable LCD screens. It can play games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft but I doubt the small device can play high graphic games like Metal Gear Solid 5. I would love to own this piece of hardware just because it's so different from standard PC gaming.
